Topservice bij Datablocks: de schijven waren uitstekend verpakt en kwamen veilig aan. Na een teleurstellende ervaring met Seagate IronWolf en jarenlang WD gebruikt te hebben, nam ik opnieuw de gok met Seagate Exos 28 TB. Vooral benieuwd naar het geluidsniveau, maar ze zijn net zo stil als mijn WD Ultrastars. Inmiddels 5 van de 10 in gebruik, allemaal probleemloos. Ze draaien stabiel, betrouwbaar en rustig, precies wat je zoekt voor grote opslag. Absoluut een aanrader voor zowel thuisgebruik als serveromgevingen.

All of the drives works great and had 0 hours on them.

Drive was dead on arrival. Sent an email to datablocks team using contact email, I have not received an answer nor acknowledgment of the issue from the team.

I wrote a blog post on my experience, you can look up either me or just Google "Buying some drives from Datablocks" (I'm pretty sure that links would be against the rules).

In short:
- I had a pretty good experience, the drives arrived within about a week and both look and seem to work fine, the prices are lovely; the drive performance is pretty much like new drives too
- what is lacking is more info about the drives on their site, the 1TB ones I got were actually 5400 RPM not 7200 RPM, but that was not mentioned anywhere (not in spec list page either)

Overall, I do recommend them!

I haven't bought of Datablocks before but I would expect I will again. No issues with the service. The process was smooth from start to finish and I got a well prices, fully functional EXOS drive at the end of it.
